Why do we get more confused in critical situations than Joe Biden at a debate

That was good.

But to answer your question; it all comes down to coaching.
But you probably already knew that.

Not sure the pass blocking ratings are going to look all that hot today. Run game seemed reasonable, and downright good at times. But Burrow was forced up and out of the pocket way too often today.

Like last week there were quite a few times he stepped up when he didn't have too.

This is not leadership...

Paul Dehner Jr. @pauldehnerjr
Taylor on Chase: It’s Ok to be emotional. Dont want to comment having not been in the middle of it.

Taylor opts to stay out of the Chase conversation.

How are y’all feeling about the game with a few days to process?

We played better than in week 1 but still not good enough to win. Too many mistakes at critical times. Burrow's fumble, Chase's meltdown, Gesicki's drop, the PI on that last pass. If any of those plays don't occur we almost certainly win.

I did not care for Zac's response to Chase's meltdown either. He said he wasn't on the field and so he didn't know for certain what caused it. That's not leadership. He didn't need to be out on the field to know you don't melt down like that, especially at the end of a winnable game in the last minutes.

He should have replied, "I wasn't out there so I didn't see what occurred but you can't have that in a game. Chase is a pro....he knows better than that. That was a critical error at an important point in a game. We can't have that.....ever. I'll be speaking to him privately about that you can be certain."

That's the way a team leader handles an incident like that. Not with some wishy-washy non-committal reply that lets his star player off the hook. Take responsibility, you're the Head Coach of a professional football team for Christ's sake. Act like one.
