Re: Bengals Retain Bobby Hart
Mag, not so sure. Keep in mind this is the known commodity vs the unknown opportunity. While Hart is definitely no Zeitler, Z probably just set the market with his move to the Giants at $10mil, $10mil and $12mil his next 3 years. So I really doubt the going rate for starting RGs is substantially le...

Re: Bengals Retain Bobby Hart
I want to know who they were bidding against? There couldn't possibly be a team offering that kind of money to him.

Bengals Retain Bobby Hart
3 years at 21 mil plus.
I don't get that one at all. That's some serious money for a guy who seemed like he didn't get the job done last year.

Bengals retain CJ Uzomah
No word on the Bengals entering the Free Agency race yet, other than the usual signing of one of our own.
CJ Uzomah will be retained for thee years worth more than 18 mil.

Re: Sometimes, being a Bengals fan sucks
I have two schools of thought on this honestly. 1. At the time we let him go, I don't believe there was anyone on this board who thought we should pay him the kind of money that the Rams were offering him. In fact I linked to the history the last time we had this conversation. Unfortunately the hist...

Re: Deflate-gate 2 - Robert Kraft style
add to that ... apparently one of the names is even bigger than Kraft.... name has yet to be released.... the NFL conduct policy applies to owners, too.. and in fact... owners are held to a higher standard than the players..... I wonder what kind of punishment the NFL will dish out for this kind of...

Re: John Ross on the trade block
I'm good with it. Somebody will look at his talent and consider that a change of scenery might do him good. We probably won't get back what his "potential" deserves in a trade, but if you can get any piece back that will help your team for a player that you don't think will help your team it's a win...

Re: UPDATED TITLE: We hired a DC
B1 Jr is right. It's the fact that it's something different. It may be good or it may be bad. None of us know yet, but it beats another season going in and expecting the same old thing.

Re: Another DC candidate turns us down (and another)
In fairness to Zac, Marvin had a deep network from years of coaching. Zac has a growing network, but he's still like 35 years old. His list just isnt that long. And you should as hell cant count on Mike Brown recruiting for you. This is the risk we take going young. If that is the case, he should e...

Re: Another DC candidate turns us down (and another)
I think you are underestimating Bob Bratkowski's ability to stop offenses from moving the ball.
